HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF NORMAL AND PATHOLOGICAL PHYSIOLOGY
Department of Pathophysiology was founded in TashGosMI in 1921. The first head was a student of the famous scientist A. V. Fokht Vasily Vasilievich Vasilievsky. From 1932 to 1938, the department was headed by I. T. Mordershtein, in the subsequent 3 years (1938-1941), the department, at the same time, was headed by the head of the department of the patanatomy, G. N. Terekhov. From 1941 to 1972, the department was headed by a student of A. A. Bogomolets and E. A. Tatarinov, Professor M. N. Khanin (1902-1985). Since 1972, the department was headed by Professor N. Kh. Abdullayev. In 1990, in connection with the reorganization of TashGosMI and the formation of the Second Tashkent State Medical Institute, the newly established department was headed by Professor Karimov H.Ya. After the organization of the Tashkent Medical Academy in 2005, the Department of Normal, Pathological Physiology and Pathological Anatomy was established. The course of pathological physiology was led by Professor Iriskulov B.U.
In 2017, the Tashkent Medical Academy organized the Department of Normal and Pathological Physiology, where the students of the first three courses of medical, medico-pedagogical, medical-preventive, medical-biological faculties and the faculty of nurses of the highest qualification have been taught. The head of the department is Prof. Iriskulov B.U.
